This darling girl made her appearance a bit late, and she was determined not to sleep for her 1st photo session. I've been doing this long enough that it's pretty hard to phase me, so her tricks did not work with me! 😉 I spend quite a bit of time before newborn sessions setting up my studio for a smooth work flow, and part of that is making sure we have a plan B if baby doesn't sleep. Newborn sessions with me are 2 hours tops, so we work with whatever baby has to give us. I love to have a combination of awake and sleeping poses, but that doesn't always happen and it's all good either way.
